Miami FC winning streak grinds to a halt in loss to North Carolina FC

All good things must come to an end, and for The Miami FC, its 14-game unbeaten streak come to an end in Cary, N.C. on July 4, as North Carolina took advantage of miscommunication and grinded out a 1-0 victory.

NCFC’s Billy Schuler scored in the 65th minute, after more than a half of tense back-and-forth play. Miami FC had more of the possession, but NCFC had multiple good opportunities that weren’t cashed in on.

Miami FC were hoping to claim the NASL Spring Season title on the road, but will have another opportunity on Saturday, when they take on the San Francisco Deltas for the first time. A win in that game would clinch the title for the Blues.
