The Miami FC weren’t nearly as dominant as they were a week before against the San Francisco Deltas.
However, it’s hard to top a 7-0 scoreline.
Miami FC scored first, benefitted from red cards (plural) and again handled the San Francisco Deltas, 3-1.
Vincenzo Rennella started the scoring for Miami FC in the 27th minute, with a lot of credit but no official assist from Jaime Chávez. Chávez took a high-difficulty shot attempt that Deltas goalie Reiner Peiser got a hand to, but didn’t clear. The deflection fell right to the foot of Rennella, who tucked it away.

Heading into halftime, Miami FC were in the ascendency, but it wasnt a runaway. But before the break, the fireworks started again.
Pablo Dyego was shown a straight red in the 40th minute thanks to an excessive challenge on Miami FC midfielder Richie Ryan that led to a stomp on Ryan’s ankle. Deltas midfielder Kyle Bekker, who was on the bench at the time, didn’t agree with the call, and was shown the exit as well.
The second half allowed Miami FC to put it away. The second goal came off a penalty thanks to a foul in the box on Rennella, who got the opportunity to finish off the shot himself in the 50th minute.

The third goal came thanks to a free-kick cross from Hunter Freeman and a strong headed finish by Kwadwo Poku in the 65th minute.

The Deltas’ Tommy Heinemann scored a consolation goal in the 71st minute, but that would be it.
Miami FC ends the spring season with 11 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses. The squad is 10 points clear at the top of the table, which will become a factor in the combined table during the NASL Fall Season.
