Miami United FC found itself atop the Sunshine Conference table Sunday night, after handling visiting Naples United 3-0.
It was an unsurprising result, as Miami United had control of the match. Naples United is still searching for its first win against a team from Miami-Dade County.
Miami United got on the board early, with a goal by Juan Ochoa assisted by Gabrielle Privitera in the 23rd minute.
However, it was a moment of brilliance in the 55th minute that sealed the match. Tomás Granitto, the recent signing by the club, gathered a ball cleared away by the Naples United defense after a Miami corner kick. Granitto moved quickly to his left, realized he was uncovered and uncorked a rocket into the upper-right corner of the goal.

The match was finished off by Sekani Sinclair, the 25-year-old substitute who converted the pas from Max Rodriguez in the 81st minute.
Miami United’s next matchup comes against Boca Raton, as Miami travels outside of Miami-Dade for the first time this season.
