Previewing the match playoff edition: Miami FC vs. New York Cosmos

Miami FC

What. A. Ride. For those of you who have followed Miami FC’s journey with us, we can’t thank you enough. For those of you who are just seeing this for the first time, welcome to the club! We’ve had some real highs and lows together throughout the year. Poku beating Atlanta, 7-0 thrashing of the Deltas for the spring title, and Cincinnati coming to town and stealing the Open Cup Semi-Final from us have all led to this moment.

Miami FC clinches the first seed, beats Indy Eleven 3-0

Miami FC bounced back and looked like the team that all their supporters know and love yesterday in Indianapolis. After dropping points in their previous two games against the San Francisco Deltas, which brought the overall first seed in to question, the turnaround was massive for the club. Indy looked outmatched from the start and saw their season officially end after the final whistle.

My Experience From The Stands: U.S. Men’s National Team takes Down Panama 4-0

U.S. Men's National Team

Did you notice our absence during the weekend match against San Francisco? One of the big reasons we decided against providing content for that match was due to the fact that we would not really be in attendance. Matthew Bunch was in Tallahassee for the “Rally In Tally” where the Hurricanes football team took down Florida State (finally). I was in Orlando for the final home match of World Cup Qualifying for the U.S. Men’s National Team. So in something that’s a bit off the rails from what we normally do, let’s provide you a recap of that match just in case you forgot the feelings of Friday night.

Well let’s be honest, perhaps soccer is the last thing on your mind at the moment. Nobody could blame you and we strongly urge that you finish up your hurricane preparations before even thinking about attending tonight’s Miami FC game against the New York Cosmos. Our preview is going to be short and to the point because we still have some prep work to do ourselves and we will probably not be in attendance.

Previewing The Match: Miami FC vs. Puerto Rico FC

The highly anticipated rematch between the top two teams in the NASL fall table, The Miami FC and Puerto Rico FC, is here. As we mentioned last week, the fall season has been a reverse of fortune for teams who found themselves at the bottom in the spring. Positions three and four are currently held by Edmonton and North Carolina who need a magical run in this campaign to earn a spot in the NASL playoffs.
