We’ve said a time or two that the NPSL Sunshine Conference schedule is funky. It’s rare for a team in any sport to go six weeks without playing a game at home. Miami FC 2 will finally get to play their third home match of the season as we enter the final stages of the 2018 NPSL campaign. Palm Beach United come to town hoping to close the door on any possible comeback for MFC2.
As the announcement of the 2026 FIFA World Cup bid draws close, both local and national governments are showing support for the United 2026 bid, and specifically support for Miami participating in the process.

On a rainy but exciting weekend in Wynwood, the women’s and men’s national titles in the Neymar Jr’s Five were awarded. Los Zorros of Fresno won the ladies title, while TC Broders from Los Angeles claimed the men’s title.

Pundits usually argue whether an important match coming on the heels of a tournament loss is a good situation or a bad one. Whichever side of the coin you fall on, it doesn’t make Miami United’s match and against Boca Raton FC any less stressful. Miami United will host Boca Raton FC tonight in NPSL action coming off the loss to Orlando City in the 2018 US Open Cup. This match has consequences for both sides when it comes to the table.

Despite a strong run through the first four rounds of the tournament, the match was over before it started. Orlando City proved a point that they were taking this tournament seriously under third-year coach Jason Kreis.
