As the culmunation of two months of Carnaval events organized by Kiwanis of Little Havana — which most famously includes Calle Ocho — the Carnaval Miami 5v5 Fútbol Challenge is taking place today at Kendall Soccer Park in West Kendall.
The Fútbol Challenge is geared toward younger players, from U8s to U18s. In the past, more than 4,000 players and spectators have come to participate in the day. While registration for new teams is closed, spectators are welcome free of charge.
